We are seeking qualified instructors to join our growing aerial program! Preference will be given to candidates who have previous teaching experience.

Applicable apparatuses:
Silks, Lyra, Trapeze, Straps, Hammock

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Rig & strike for class (this time is paid). Training on our rigging system will be provided, but candidates should have some familiarity with rigging and safety best practices.

• Instruct total beginner to intermediate (at least) level students on proper aerial technique and safety.

• Spot up to four students at a time on the apparatuses.

• Tailor your teaching style and curriculum to the students in class.

Pay rate: $35 - $55/hr, depending on experience, plus bonus pay for classes with 10+ students.

Lines instructors get two free classes a week, with 25% off additional classes and a discount at the store.

Ballet is one of the most popular dance genres at Lines. We are seeking an experienced instructor to join our team. We offer classes in Total Beginner to Advanced levels. Preference will be given to candidates who have received high-quality training at a professional or pre-professional level. Bonus points for those who have taken professional development in ballet instruction!

Lines Vermont is seeking a Store Retail Associate to assist customers in our dance store. The job includes:

• Retail sales

• Dance shoe & apparel fittings

• Inventory tracking, restocking & ordering

• Arranging visual displays of merchandise

• Responding to client inquiries via email and phone

• Helping us maintain a clean, fresh, and welcoming space

Lines will provide training on apparel and footwear styles and proper fitting. Preference will be given to those who have dance experience and a passion for dance. We’re seeking someone who has excellent attention to detail, is organized, is people-oriented, has strong communication skills and who has experience working in a professional environment. Candidates should feel comfortable learning new software products and using technology.

Pay rate: $18/hr+ based on experience
