Aerial Arts

Beginning Silks

Learn to fly in the gorgeous world of aerial silks / fabric! In this five-week series, students will start with the basics and work their way toward climbs, footlocks, and drops. Everything will start close to the ground, and as strength and body awareness grow, students are invited to take their skills to new heights! This class will begin with a two part warm up, starting on the ground and then using the apparatus. Students will then work towards skills and sequences, so you can learn how to make your most gorgeous dance poses in the air with just a series of wraps. Check out our Multi-Week Series page to see when the next series starts.

Aerial Straps Fitness

Mixed Aerial Arts for Youth

Lyra, also called Aerial Hoop, is a taped metal circle that can hang at various heights, spin, and swing. This versatile apparatus allows for a variety of movements, shapes, tricks, and choreography that anyone interested in bar aerials should try! Over this 5-week series, gain strength and confidence as you become more at home in the air. Each class begins with a two part warm up, starting on the ground and then moving to the apparatus. Then students focus on learning skills and/or sequences that can be done static or spinning. While this class is open to all levels, pole experience transfers to lyra very well! Check out our Multi-Week Series page to see when the next series starts.

In this 5-week series on the static trapeze, prepare to “raise the bar” and build skills that will help you advance in all dance and aerial disciplines! Classes will include conditioning exercises on the ground and in the air to work towards inversions, pullovers, various ways to hang from the bar, comfortability in the ropes, and more. This class will be a mix of strengthening and flexibility work, specifically targeting the upper body, grip strength, core, hamstrings, shoulders, and back. Class will begin with a warm up before moving on to the aerial equipment. We may also explore spinning, swinging, and orbiting techniques! All fitness and experience levels are welcome. Note: this is a class in dance trapeze, not flying trapeze. Check out our Multi-Week Series page to see when the next series starts.

Develop all-over core strength and control while establishing a foundation of exercises to help you find mobility in the air! This class will develop the technique necessary for moving with control using aerial straps, while maintaining a conditioned form. Exercises will start at a beginner level, reinforcing a basis of technique with a strong concentration on establishing comfortability and movement within the straps. This is a weekly drop-in class. Check out our Class Schedule page to sign up!

We offer 6-week series for youth that provide an introduction to trapeze, silks, and lyra! Students spend two weeks with each apparatus, starting on the ground and working their way into the air as they feel confident. Safety is always our first priority, and parents are invited to observe from our seating area. This series is offered for two age groups: ages 6 & 7, and ages 8-12. Check out our Multi-Week Series page to see when the next series starts.
